인도 AIS 인증 Automotive Industry Standard

인도 AIS 인증(Automotive Industry Standard)은, 인도 정부가 차량 안전부품에 대한 신뢰성 검증 및 체계적인 관리를 목적으로 수립한 차량 주요 안전부품에 대한 강제적인 형식 승인인증 제도입니다.
2008년 12월, 차량 주요 안전부품에 대한 강제적인 형식 승인 및 사후심사에 대한 규정인 AIS-037을 제정 공포한 바 있으며, 2009년 3월부터 대상품목에 대해서 전면 시행중에 있습니다. 인도 정부가 정식 인가한 인증기관인 ARAI(Automotive Research Association of India)에서는 차량 주요 안전 부품 및 EMC(Electro Magnetic Compatibility) 형식 승인 진행(인증서 발급포함)및 사후심사(CoP)의 업무를 진행하고 있으며, 또한 완성차 형식승인 업무를 진행하는 인도 유일의 인증기관입니다.
